About the Instructor
Sifu Mark Moy
has taught martial arts for over 22 years, is a 6th degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo Tum-Pai Kung-Fu,
and a certified instructor of T'ai-Chi Ch'uan and
Chi-Gung.
He also has a
strong background in Jeet Kune Do (JKD), Grappling,
Jujutsu, Wing-Chun, and Kali / Escrima.
Sifu Moy is a
Certified Chief Instructor for the World Chinese
Internal Martial Arts Association, the Director for
Self-Defense Professionals, and a Child Safety
Expert.
Sifu Moy was
adjunct faculty at Clark Community College for 20 years
where he started Tai-Chi for Seniors and taught Kung-Fu
and Judo.
He has done
numerous workshops for public schools, local businesses and corporations. Workshops
include Youth Bully-Proofing, Abduction Prevention, Women's Self-Defense
and Rape Prevention.
Sifu Moy is a
popular speaker with educators in public schools because
of the positive message he shares with kids. His
classroom and assembly talks emphasize the importance of
making good choices, taking responsibility for actions,
and how everyone has the power to make a difference.
Corporate
programs include Team Building and Conflict Resolution,
Stress-Management and Wellness, and Creativity KickStart
workshops.
Sifu Moy has
taught programs for Clark Community College, Hewlett-Packard, Bonneville Power
Administration, YWCA, Washington State School for the
Blind, Northwest Natural Gas Company, Legacy Hospital,
Boy and Girl Scout troops, Mom's Club of Vancouver, and
many community groups.
